The program has been created as common product for security hybrid platforms functioning concurrently with wireless and wired Internet cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same look and controls on the local and distant pcs. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have full management of the software through network that surveillance server can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition considerably boosts reliability because all components work as independent software. If one part freezes, other parts go on running. For instance if the `capture` part fails, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` unit. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant computer using Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
